Insight Global Electrical Design Support Engineer in Indian Head, Maryland
Job Description
My client in Indian Head, MD is looking for an Electrical Design Support Engineer to join their team. Their day to day responsibilities will include developing design packages, preparing electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects such as HVAC replacements, electrical power service, emergency generators, lightning protection, grounding, and controls/telecommunication systems. This opportunity is offering a competitive salary of $100,000 - $180,000 annually.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
8+ years of experience in federal electrical design
5+ years experience designing electrical power systems for new or upgraded buildings
AutoCAD and Solidworks experience
Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance - Professional Engineer (PE) license
Design experience in controlled spaces (humidity control, temperature control, etc.) null
