Job Description

A leading healthcare client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. This role involves working on a versatile project team within the B2B e-commerce space, focusing on ordering systems, receiving systems, and accounts payable functions. On a day-to-day basis, the Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications, and work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure project deliverables are met. They will facilitate communication between stakeholders to align project goals and expectations, evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, and design and propose solutions to enhance e-commerce functionalities. The role also involves creating detailed documentation, developing test plans, and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT). Additionally, the Business Analyst will participate in daily stand-up meetings, prepare and present status reports, and manage a heavy meeting schedule. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in using tools like Jira and Confluence. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and take ownership of tasks and projects is essential. This is a completely remote, contract-to-hire opportunity.

Skills and Requirements

* Must come from a ecommerce environment working with platforms like ordering systems, receiving systems, and account payable products*

• Must have 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

• Experience gathering requirements from the business and translating them to the technical team

• Experience overseeing resources both onshore and offshore

• Extensive experience with documentation and writing user end stories (preferably Jira or Confluence)

• Hands on experience with spearheading User Acceptance Testing along with the business

• Excellent communication and ability to work communicate with technical and business stakeholders

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and unpredictable environment and take initiative - Experience creating charts and diagrams in Miro null
