Insight Global Lab Tech Generalist in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania
Job Description
Redeemer Health Hospital is looking for a Lab Tech Generalist to join their team. This person will be working within all 3 branches of the lab: Hematology, Blood Bank & Chemistry. Day-to-day will involve basic Lab Tech duties including, but not limited to specimen processing & testing, quality control, blood bank testing and data collection and management. When this person initially joins, they will be trained during day shift hours and eventually converted to either the evening or night shift schedule. Shift details are as follows:
Evening: 3 PM - 11:30 PM
Night: 11 PM - 7:30 AM
*full 40 hrs/per week
*Emergency coverage policy: will cover 4 hours before or after their shift if there is an emergency call-out
*OT when this does happen

Skills and Requirements
Clinical Lab experience specifically within Hematology, Blood Bank, and Chemistry
familiarity with some or most of the following instruments/tools: Beckman Coulter DxC, DxI, Access Medical Labs, DxH, Iris
Experience/familiarity with Stago Company Max & Cephied
In-depth knowledge of Laboratory protocols and tools/language - ASCP certification null
