Insight Global Python Cloud Developer in Jersey City, New Jersey
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Python Developer to join one of our largest financial clients. They will be joining the Technology Services Group within the Database Engineering team. This group is responsible for deploying databases on prem or in the cloud and building/maintaining the whole ecosystem around the databases which is automation and patterns. This team is currently working on an Azure Cloud project in which they are developing tools to deploy these databases into the cloud. The team has Ansible playbook that they've integrated into the CICD pipeline for testing the code. Once tests are run if things fail, this person needs to figure out what failed in the pipeline and what to debug in the process. On a day to day, initially this person will be running tests then troubleshooting those tests if they fail and understanding where the failure is coming from. Once the individual is familiar with the environment this person will be getting into coding and developing itself.

Skills and Requirements
-7+ years of experience working as a Python Developer
-Experience working with Ansible for Scripting
-Familiarity with DBMS technologies -- Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
-Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
-Experience working with Azure services -- Azure VM, Compute, Storage, Network
-Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues -Experience utilizing Terraform
-Experience working within a financial institution null
