Insight Global UI Designer in Katy, Texas
Job Description
A large retail employer in the Katy, Texas area is looking to hire a UI Designer to join their team. This team consists of 3 junior UI Designers and this person would need to come in and help lead the multiple projects/initiatives coming up within this e-commerce team working along side development and Project Management teams. The main responsibilities for this role would be high tier production design for the day to day support of the company's front end of the website. They will also be responsible for handling between 6-10 smaller projects at a time than can include transitioning custom landing pages, creating brand projects, homepage design coverage, etc... This role will require strong experience utilizing Figma for creating fully functional prototypes and mockup arrangements along with Adobe Photoshop for picture editing. The ideal candidate will come from a retail and/or e-commerce background with UI design experience adhering to WCAG/ADA guidelines. This person will report onsite to their Katy, Tx. location 5 days/week (Mon-Thurs 8-5 and 8-12 Fri). The pay range for this role dependent on experience would be between $45-50/hr.

Skills and Requirements
· 4+ years of Digital/UI design experience within a retail and/or ecommerce industry
· Strong experience utilizing Figma for creating both mockup arrangements, prototypes, and visual excellence
· Strong experience utilizing Adobe Photoshop for complex photo editing
· Experience working closely with software development teams
· Previous experience with UI Design of WCAG/ADA guidelines to ensure website compliance
· Experience managing multiple projects (5+ at one time) · Strong design experience utilizing Adobe XD for after effect animation
· UX and Product design experience
· Prior experience utilizing Adobe Analytics and Quantum null
