Job Description
* Financial Data Management: Refreshing and updating financial data to ensure that the accounts reflect current transactions.
* Transaction Reconciliation: Reconciling cash and receipts to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
* Expense Recording: Recording and categorizing expenses, which may involve using software tools to streamline the process.
* Financial Analysis: Reviewing financial reports, performing risk analysis evaluations, and providing information to guide company decisions.
* Compliance: Ensuring that all bookkeeping is compliant with state and federal laws, as well as adhering to lease accounting standards.
* Reporting: Assisting with the preparation of financial performance reviews, including balance sheet and profit & loss analytical reviews.
* Audits: Working with external auditors and assisting with account reconciliations and analyzing balance sheet accounts.
The role of an accountant on a leasing accounting team is critical for maintaining the integrity of financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Skills and Requirements
- 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Experience at a large company (big 4, second tier accounting firm, company $1B+ in revenue)
- Experience with managing financial statements for multiple leases.
- Advanced excel experience. - CPA or eligible
- Telecom industry experience null
