Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Exadata Database Administrator to work remotely in India to join on US-based insurance client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Oracle Exadata database systems. For this role you need to be experienced in database administration, performance tuning, backup, and recovery, as well as ensuring the overall health and availability of all database infrastructure. The candidate must be experienced with Exadata support and migrations. This person will be responsible for addressing and resolving performance issues, supporting the Oracle environment, and being resourceful to effectively troubleshoot.
This role can pay up to $15/hr USD.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
6+ years of proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Oracle Exadata
Strong knowledge of Oracle Database technologies, including Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager
Proficiency in SQL tuning and query optimization
Experience in backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN and Oracle Cloud backup solutions Oracle certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Shell) null
