Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a SQL DBA to sit offshore in India for a US based insurance client. This position is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the organization's SQL databases. This person will ensure that data remains consistent across the database, data is clearly defined, users access data concurrently and in a form that suits their needs, and there is provision for data security and recovery control. This person will join a team of SQL and Oracle DBAs to manage their respective environments for configurations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and supporting operations within the SQL database.
This is a full time position that will work 8am-5pm CST hours. This position can pay between $12-15/hr USD.

Skills and Requirements
- 4+ years of experience within SQL Database Administration
- Comfortable with DMV's (Dynamic Management Views), SQL Traces, troubleshooting job failures, and conducting discoveries in an High Availability (HA) environment
- Experienced using the following SQL commands: DDL, DML, DCL, TCL
- Expertise in installing and configuring SQL Servers (SSRS/SSAS/SSIS)
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience and configuring/setting up Idera - SQL Licensing
- Proficiency with T-SQL to query data or created stored procures and triggers
- Experience working with application development teams to assist with upgrades and troubleshoot issues null
