Insight Global Medical Assistant in Littleton, Colorado

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Medical Assistant to sit onsite in the Brighton, CO area 5x a week (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm). The Medical Assistant will be responsible for the following:

Performs general administrative and patient care tasks in accordance with the Scope of Practice, and other established policies and procedures.

* Possesses the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi- disciplinary care team.

* Greets and prepare patients for the health care provider while maintaining a positive and caring attitude.

* Attentive to patient's needs, coordinates care, administers care, and documents appropriately.

* Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights by observing HIPAA regulations

* Obtain and record patient information; vital signs, height, weight, allergies, current medications, medical history, and chief complaint, etc.

* Demonstrates knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

The hourly range is from 17hr-23hr.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3 months previous experience as a Medical Assistant

  • Active American Heart Associate BLS Certificate

  • Medical Assistant Certificate from Accredited Program - 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience null
