Insight Global REMOTE - Mobile Developer (React Native) in Louisville, Kentucky
Job Description
An employer is looking for a fully remote React Native developer for a contract opportunity that can sit anywhere in the US. This developer will join an agile team and assist with the update and modernization efforts of their mobile application that is built within React Native. This developer will be responsible for the following:
o Mobile development (80%):
o Contributing engineering efforts towards the app's digital order flow to produce performant and scalable experiences.
o Designing, testing, maintaining, and assessing technical architecture and codebases.
o Staying current on modern UI technologies, best practices, and skills for application delivery success.
o Documenting and communicating updated architectural patterns, component design, and development processes.
o Develop and deliver high quality mobile applications that meet the requirements provided by the broader team
o Assisting in the implement vendor solutions, specifically around ecommerce and delivery
o Cross-functional team interaction (20%):
o Work with product design teams to help translate mockups into working prototypes and help determine development effort required
o Provide code review for junior developers by suggesting improvements and best practices
o Manage complexity of working on, or supporting, multiple projects at a time
The targeted pay range for this position is between $50-62/hr

Skills and Requirements
3+ years developing in React Native
Experience developing in a typed language for example -Typescript
Working knowledge querying with GraphQL
Experience with Jira or similar system
Experience with Git Experience writing test cases, unit tests, or testing
Experience with developer tooling (Xcode, Android Studio, Simulators etc.)
Knowledge of cloud-based architectures/Cloud-native applications
Experience practicing Agile methodologies null
