Insight Global Sales Engineer in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Description

Insight Global is currently seeking a Sales Engineer for a permanent full-time opportunity in the Louisville, KY area. This individual will be sales representative for the Midwest territory and will be expected to travel up to 40% of the time. They will be heavily involved in all aspects of project development including funding, design, and construction processes. This individual will need to be comfortable being out in the field and selling customizable equipment. The primary responsibility of this individual includes managing the territory, and assessing customer needs and problems. Additional responsibilities include reviewing how equipment is sized, put costs together, budgetary proposals, following up on inquiry leads, previous proposals in the territory, and maintaining relationships with clients for those projects and opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a background and understanding of thermal processing, physics of air, mass flow, and heat transfer.

Skills and Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering OR equivalent experience working in applications engineering or project engineering

 2+ years of professional sales experience

 · Ability to travel on a project need basis (can be up to 40%).

Professional working knowledge of the physics of air · Professional working experience with industrial rotary process equipment

Professional working experience with selling customized equipment null
