Insight Global Manufacturing Engineer in Manassas, Virginia
Job Description
An aerospace company is looking for a manufacturing engineer to help service development, production and delivery of aerostructure components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will be proficient with ERP systems and will utilize these to create and maintain masters and engineering operations. They will be working in a highly agile, prototype environment so the ideal individual is agile, hardworking and highly communicative. This person will interface with multiple teams to manufacture composite or metal for the given program.

Skills and Requirements
BS degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace preferred) from an accredited university.
- 2+ years of experience within composite or metal manufacturing and assembly.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Experience with assembly sequencing, and producibility utilizing CAD software (Computer Aided Design)
- Experience utilizing ERP/MRP planning systems and bill of material interrogation for process planning.
- Must also understand the financial and scheduling metrics in successfully executing a program.
Experience with fabrication of various metals - Aerospace/Defense Background
- SolidWorks or Catia5 CAD experience
- Experience with SAP ERP system
- Composite Experience
Experience with fabrication of avionics harnessing null
