Insight Global AWS Architect in Maryland Heights, Missouri
Job Description
Insight Global is looking to add an AWS Solutions Architect to their team in Maryland Heights, MO. This individual will work side by side with another architect to help manage and maintain the AWS infrastructure for our client's tech mobile team. You will be responsible for brining in your technical expertise to educate your fellow peers as well as keeping the production stable. We need someone who has experience standing AWS infrastructure up at a large enterprise, hands on experience in java, and spring boot webservices; AWS in EKS, networking, VPC, firewalls and Kubernetes. Requiring one to have a strong background in scaling the environment, creating clusters, and utilizing SQS. This is a long-term contract with requirements to be onsite 5 to 4 days a week.

Skills and Requirements
Experienced AWS Architect with 2-3 long-term big projects
Experience standing up AWS infrastructure
Java, springboot webservices
Expert in Kubernetes -- clusters, SQS (simple queue services) etc..
Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) to manage Kubernetes on AWS and on-premises
VPC (virtual private cloud) exposure and firewalls
Ability to explain real-life examples of scaling environment in AWS null
