Insight Global Corrosion Engineer in Merritt Island, Florida
Job Description
An employer in the Titusville, FL market is looking for a Corrosion Engineer to join their team. This person will be working on a 5-year corrosion control plan. They will spend 30% of their time out in the field inspecting, conducting field tests and looking for corrosion throughout the Kennedy Space Center facility as well as providing any technical support. And 70% in the office creating requirements, preparing detailed reports and presentations for clients to communicate corrosion risks, strategies to mitigate the issue and progress/updates on the plan.

Skills and Requirements
* 15+ years of experience as a corrosion engineer, creating requirements and control plans to repair any corrosion issues
* Experience in the oil and gas industry or on industrial facilities
* Must hold a NACE 3 Peer Review or AMPP Level 3
* 2 years of experience performing coatings and corrosion condition assessments
* Knowledge of safety processes, procedures and federal, state and local safety laws
* Knowledge of Corrosion Assessment methods and processes
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Knowledge of NASA-STD-5008B Requirements
* Knowledge and use of MAXIMO
* Experience in DOD null
