Job Description
Pay Rate:
$25-$35 per hour
Insight Global Health is seeking to hire two Mammography Technologists for a healthcare provider in the Miami area. In this role, the Mammography Techs will operate mammogram equipment to capture breast images, ensuring accurate identification of areas of concern. They will also obtain patients' history, prepare the exam room, assist with biopsies, and maintain quality control. Efficiency, infection control, and collaboration with radiologists are key aspects of this position. The office, comprising 13 Mammography Techs, Radiologists, and other techs, performs approximately 100 mammograms daily, with each Mammo Tech handling 15-20 procedures. Strong anatomical knowledge and familiarity with programming and adjusting mammography units are essential qualifications. Other responsibilities include verifying patients' identity and confirming orders based on physician's prescription. Candidates will need to have a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology and knowledge on how to program and adjust mammography unit to capture images from all angles established by protocol.

Skills and Requirements
* Board Certification
* ARRT (M)
* 3+ years of experience
* Training in breast imaging
* Expereince with breast mammorgraphy procedures
* HS Diploma or GED equivalent
* Great communication skills
* Experience/comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * BLS +++ * Experience with Hologic 3D
* Bachelor's Degree null
