Insight Global Remote Contract Accountant in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Job Description
An employer is looking for a highly skilled remote Staff Accountant to join one of our healthcare clients for a remote contract opportunity. This position is a 4 month engagement to backfill someone going on a 4 month medical leave. In this role you will join a growing team within their shared services space to work to build and support capitalized labor concepts, help create a better documentation process that is audit ready and easy to follow, help to design their fixed asset accounting process and work to do general month end expenses and revenue accruals along with special projects as needed. In this group there are 3 accounting focused, fixed assets, revenue and inter company management, which includes doing reconciliations between great planes and Net Suite. In order to be successful on this team you must be extremely detail orients, have advanced excel skills, and be comfortable working with internally developed software.

Skills and Requirements
-At least 5 years of experience working as an accountant
-Advanced Excel skills
-Experience doing end month expenses and reporting
-Experience working with internally developed software
-Ability to document and create easily followed audit processes
-Ability to work cross functionally between teams and partners
-Advanced understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
-Technical understanding of financial systems including EMR's and ERP's null
