Insight Global Deputy Head of Infrastructure Services in Morristown, New Jersey
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Deputy Head of Infrastructure Services to join one of their top financial clients in the Tri-State area. This individual will report directly to the Head of Infrastructure Services, and will be responsible for leading enterprise wide strategy for both existing infrastructure and further cloud adoption. Currently, the environment is very data center centric with a small Azure footprint, and we are seeking someone who can bring a level of cloud expertise to assess this current balance, and create a road map to transform the environment with a focus cloud expansion, and making platforms and applications cloud native. This person should have led a prior cloud migration or implementation and be well versed in at least two cloud providers with Azure being a must. They should have a great base line in on premise infrastructure to understand the current state and maintain the environment appropriately. This person will also lead a team composed of around 20 (both indirect and direct reports), so prior managerial experience is a plus. This role will roughly be 50% dedicated to cloud and infrastructure strategy, architecture and stakeholder engagement, about 20-25% on team and staff development, and the remaining dedicated to optimization and maintenance of current infrastructure.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Starting base salary begins at $143K.

Skills and Requirements
-10+ years experience within cloud and infrastructure technology
-Well versed in both on prem environments (data centers, branch locations, internal) and cloud technologies
-Expertise in Azure -- should understand implementation, migrations, application architecture, microservices
-Understanding of Terraform
-Understanding of DevOps best practices
-Prior experience managing or leading a team (ideally 5+)
-Able to go on site 4 days a week
-Bachelors Degree -Scripting experience
-Basic networking understanding
