Insight Global Certified Pharmacy Technician in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a certified pharmacy tech to join a major health system in the Myrtle Beach area. This position must possess familiarity with all aspects of Pyxis, inventory management, billing/charging, medication compounding (sterile and non-sterile) and repackaging of medications. In addition, this technician will work closely with the Pharmacy Automation Specialist, and Billing and Regulatory Compliance technicians to ensure compliance with policy, protocol, and regulations.

Skills required:

  • National or state certification

  • 1+ years of previous inpatient pharmacy experience

  • Ability to work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staffs.

  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.

  • Ability to work all of the technician shifts at both hospitals, including the dispensing roles and medication

reconciliation roles.

  • Ability to set priorities, makes decisions, and responds quickly to emergency requests.

  • Ability to assist the pharmacist in meeting the pharmaceutical needs of neonatal, pediatric, adult,

and geriatric patients.
