Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Systems Programmer, with a focus on DB2, for a full-time role with a leader in the 3rd party healthcare administration space. This position is a member of the Mainframe Sub-Systems Support team and will primarily be accountable for ensuring a highly available DB2 environment. This results-oriented job requires solid mainframe systems programming skills to support the DB2 V12 systems. This person will research, evaluate, design and develop IT Infrastructure systems by applying engineering, hardware and software design theories and principles to develop a compatible system infrastructure in line with organizational strategies.
Main responsibilities are providing a stable and secure DB2 V12 support, as well as product installation and maintenance (SMP/E). Additionally, they will handle performance analysis, tuning and customization, and will work with DB2 Logging and System Recovery/Disaster Recovery. Lastly, this person will conduct change inspections, and determine associated risks and readiness for implementation, and must provide strong problem resolution skills.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years' DB2 Programming and support experience
Strong experience with DB2 V12
Knowledge of DB2 Data Sharing
RACF experience
Knowledge of JCL, IBM Utlities, Omegamon, MQ and CICS - Prior Lead experience null
