Looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer to join the Steam & Gas Engineering Team, who has a thorough understanding of the design, operation, maintenance, and components of steam or gas turbines and/or turbomachinery. You are an experience field engineer across power plant facilities with an expertise in fans, pumps, motors, generators, cooling systems, metallurgy, and mechanical power transfer. Looking for an individual who has working knowledge of equipment inspection, repair, and environmental processes for steam plant equipment.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (any discipline)

6+ years experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, gas compressors, pumps, motors, fans, generators, or mechanical power transfer

A thorough understanding of turbo-machinery design, operations, maintenance, testing or analysis in the utility industry, oil & gas industry or marine propulsion

Working knowledge of inspection, repair, and environmental processes such as Non-Destructive Testing, welding techniques, including inspections and emissions control.

OK in a field role, supporting plants across NYC Experience with plant and industry standard software and analysis tools (such as AMS) to initiate performance and availability improvement plans

Working knowledge of auxiliary systems and associated equipment such as fuel delivery systems, high energy piping systems, steam turbines, and generators

Knowledge of State and Federal regulations affecting steam plant operations

Knowledge of industry codes and standards and process safety measures null
