Job Description
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking two Sr. Java Developers to join one of their largest financial clients in NYC. The candidate will be working on a calculation system that hosts a variety of backend processes such as index calculations, and reporting for equities and commodities. The team current initiative is to replace Toplink with Spring and Hibernate. This role will be 85% hands on backend development and 15% team code review. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of hands on experience developing with Core Java.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
8+ years of experience with Core Java development.
Prior exposure to Spring Framework.
Experience working with ORMs (EX: Hibernate/Toplink)
Good understanding of designing and implementing REST APIs.
Familiarity with AWS containers.
Strong SQL skills for database querying, optimization, and data manipulation. Plusses:
