Insight Global Senior Actuarial Analyst in North York, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join a leading non-profit insurance association within the Corporate Actuarial team. Key responsibilities will include building out documentation and risk controls into all key steps of the actuarial workflow, building, improving, and enhancing tools within the actuarial processes, and creating analyses utilizing actuarial data. The successful candidate will have previous experience within Property and Casualty insurance, specifically related to reserving and valuation. This role will allow for growth through presentations/communication with the executive team, leading peer reviews and mentoring teammates, and working within a fast-growing organization.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance (at least 2 years of Canadian experience) related to reserving, valuation, pricing, capital modeling and/or data science

4+ CAS exams

Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (SQL, SAS, VBA, Python, R, etc.)

University or college degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field Experience using GISA/IBC data and exhibits

Experience with Milliman Arius valuation software

ACAS/FCAS designation null
