Job Description
A satellite communications employer located in Ottawa, ON is looking to bring on several C++ Software Engineers for its exciting new greenfield project. You will be responsible for developing satellite applications that run on ground terminals which will be used to provide broadband connectivity to entirprise users and emote areas across the globe.You should have a strong embedded background and be comfortable coding in C++. You will be working in an Agile environment and be comfortable with unit testing. An Aerospace or Telecommunications background will stand out to this team.

Skills and Requirements
15+ years experience utilizing C++ (version 11, 14 or 17 preferred)
3+ Years in an Agile Environment
3+ Years leading a team and/or mentoring
Experience working in an Embedded Linux environment
Experience with established software design patterns, efficient data structures, and multi-threaded system design Knowledge of networking platforms, protocols such as gRPC, gNMI (not development of these protocols - simply having interaction with them)
Aerospace or telecommunications/networking industry experience
Ability to write script in Python
Ability to write and understand user stories
Comfortable with unit testing
Understanding of AWS null
