Job Description
As a Desktop Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the desktop infrastructure of our organization, with a focus on patching cycles for Windows, MacOS, and iOS devices. You will be responsible for managing and deploying corporate Mac OS images, and software packages, and ensuring the security and functionality of our desktop environment. Additionally, you will serve as an escalation point for Mac users, evaluate new technologies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security standards and practices.
Pay Range: $35-40/hr

Skills and Requirements
Develop, maintain, and deploy corporate Mac OS images and software packages to Mac laptop and desktop clients, ensuring enterprise readiness and security.
Administer Workspace One and create packages for applications deployment across the organization.
Serve as the primary escalation point for all Mac user-related issues, providing timely resolution and support.
Evaluate and test new Mac OS/Hardware and architect future solutions for deploying Mac configurations.
Create and maintain technical knowledge base documents, including security updates and service packs for supported applications.
Test, install, and update the Windows/MacOS operating system, including proprietary applications, security patches, updates, and system security tools.
Design and build Windows images for Dell Laptops, manage Windows patching/security, and oversee automated imaging solutions for the laptop fleet.
Collaborate with the Security Team to identify and mitigate risks and threats to the desktop fleet, ensuring compliance with security standards.
Develop metric/reporting and maintain data reflecting device inventory, health, and compliance state.
Provide remote support to employees across the US, leveraging ITSM solutions such as Jira.
Contribute expertise in hardware and software deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting within project-based environments
Understanding of Okta Identity Provider (IDP) and experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
Knowledge of Office365 products and services, with hands-on experience in supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. null
