Insight Global Occupational Therapist in Paris, Texas

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a full-time Occupational Therapist for one of the largest home health organizations in the country. The OT will be in charge of a large coverage area including Lamar, Red River, Hunt, Delta, Hopkins, Fannin, and Grayson counties in Northern Texas.

Duties of the job are listed below:

  • Provide service within the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, using evidence-based techniques, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.

  • Evaluate the patients functional status, status of all body systems as required for CMS documentation, and occupational therapy needs.

  • Consult with the physician in the development of the therapy plan of care, observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.

  • Conduct patient assessments evaluating the level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests.

The targeted salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year with a mileage reimbursement of 48 cents/gallon.

Skills and Requirements

  • Current Physical Therapy license in state of Texas

  • Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle - Previous home health experience null
