Insight Global Account Executive (Dallas) in Plano, Texas

Job Description

A MSP client is seeking a driven Strategic Consultant to join the team in identifying and closing managed service opportunities. This person will be reporting to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high level of working knowledge of the company's products, services, and solutions. They must provide excellent customer service to all assigned customers which is measured in the team and individual scorecard dashboards. They must proactively perform multiple customer outreach and sales activities with an understanding that the majority of your time will be spent in front of customers; face-to-face or virtually. This person will negotiate master service agreements and see every deal through to the finish line. They will utilize CRM to provide accurate, timely, and detailed forecast funnel of opportunities to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Additionally, this person must manage time efficiently, demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and possess a strong desire for continuous learning.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of B2B sales experience for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP)

Proven success performing successful negotiations for competitive solution proposals and renewals highlighting strategy and mutual business value

Experienced in face to face selling with executives, maintaining relationships, and building rapport with key stakeholders to ensure renewals and/or drive new sales to finish line

Possess results driven mindset and ability to identify new leads, prospect and cold call/network to proactively develop business opportunities independently

Experience maintaining an accurate and timely sales pipeline

Hungry, go-getter attitude, organized, and professional

Knowledge of various IT Sales and Business Solutions involving: Intelligent Networks (WAN), Managed Security Services, Managed Services, Unified Communications as a Service, Hardware, Professional Services, Cloud and Disaster Recovery Services

Ability to travel anywhere from 25%-75% of the time to be in front of clients Bachelor's degree null
