Job Description
Reporting directly to the CTO Medical, our Director will be a highly talented individual who has a strong working knowledge of our customers' requirements and who can articulately synthesize complex technological issues into solutions. The Director will have global responsibility for the development engineering organization in our Medical Devices metal unit. Focusing on the delivery of customer product and process development needs, the Leader will need a deep understanding of the technologies and manufacturing processes used in our products along with the ability to lead a multidisciplinary global engineering
organization to deliver business needs. We have teams located across the US with hubs in Minnesota and Galway,
Ireland. Our position can be based remotely.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering. MBA/master's preferred.
10+ years of demonstrated Engineering
Has been in a director role and has worked with teams cross functionally.
Management experience in Medical Device Manufacturing or Technology, working with internal and external customers required.
Ability to act as a company and customer advocate.
Experience in functional management of development of engineering teams.
Track record in leading a large global technical engineering team.
Demonstrated business acumen and confidence communicating to senior management and customers.
Ability to both develop and champion vision for Device Engineering while prioritizing key initiatives.
Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, problem solving required.
Demonstrated proficiency in on-line collaboration tools, and databases required.
Strong knowledge of equipment & process automation.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and programs and meet scope, schedule, and
budget requirements.
- Experience in Product/Project Lifecycle implementation and strong process and systems understanding
preferred.
- Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and component or assembly design principles required.

- Strong ability to access a situation, weight the pros and cons and problem solve to create the best solution. - Experience working in the metals space with a focus on electrophysiology, specifically oblations, stint installation and vale repairs. null
