Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an SAP BW on Hana Consultant for one of our customers in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a techno-functional role that will be supporting a larger project. This person will be providing production support and building enhancements for the platform focused in business warehousing environment.
Responsibilities
* Work with Business Analysts and Data Architects (in BW and HANA) and develop/coordinate technical models per Business requirement.
* Unit Test and coordinate the Business UAT.
* Work collaboratively with the Business to define and document functional and technical requirements
* Build aDSO, Composite providers, Open ODS, Transient providers, transformations, extractors, datasources and required routines.
* Design and develop complex BEx queries to meet reporting requirements
* Adopt data modeling & data flow design best practices to develop robust & scalable solutions.
* Activate, Configure & Enhance Business Content Extractors
* Optimize reporting and data load performance
* Design and develop front-end analytics, reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects Lumira, SAP Web Intelligence (WEBI), SAP Analysis for Office
* Communicate and deploy changes in the production environment
* Provide expertise and advice on enterprise data warehouse solutions and designs
* Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

Skills and Requirements
* 10+ years' experience working on end-to-end projects developing Corporate Reporting and Analytics
* 5+ years SAP BW on HANA experience including Extraction, Modeling, and Query design with strong emphasis in solutions for SAP FICO, CATS, Procurement
* 3+ years of ABAP experience
* Sound Technical Knowledge in Business Warehouse (BW 7. 5), HANA 2.0 and Business Explorer and Business object Lumira designer.
* Should have strong BW and HANA modelling skills and experience in generating complex data models with hybrid modelling.
* Strong experience working on new SAP BW on HANA objects and LSA++ environment.
* Should have strong experience in building HANA views including scripted calculations.
* Should have worked on complex HANA view modelling with SAP and non-SAP sources.
* Should have good hold on ABAP (related to BW), SQL and experience writing complex stored procedures / script.
* Should be able to work with Customer exits / function modules and Programs.
* Working knowledge in Lumira Designer and WEBI.
* Should have exposure to Business Objects Analysis for Office.
* Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
* Must know when and where to use appropriate data; recognize when data is misleading, misrepresented, or incomplete; effectively create, read and interpret charts, and graphs; use critical thinking skills when analyzing data; and employ "data storytelling" techniques when talking with people who lack data literacy skills.
* Strong interpersonal, and personal organization skills * Knowledge of HANA Smart Data Access (SDA) is a plus.
* Experience with data extraction to SAP BW via REST API is a plus.
* Experience in Power BI and Tableau is a plus. null
