Insight Global Capital Markets Associate in Reston, Virginia

Job Description

Insight Global is currently hiring for candidates who recently graduated and who have an interest in Capital/Secondary Mortgage Markets to join a Fortune 500 client of ours. This role will foster growth in your understanding of capital markets, hedging and trading, secondary mortgages, and how to manage a pipeline of assets for an enterprise organization. If you would like to begin a career in the finance industry, this is an exciting role. Responsibilities include:

- Develop and build a deep understanding of mortgage secondary markets and pricing

- Perform reconciliations with investors to ensure accuracy of loan sale proceeds as well as Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) trades

- Ensure hedging reporting accuracy and work with investors to research mismatches

- Create, design, and process capital markets management reports

- Reconcile differences between daily cash positions with investors and internal databases

- Monitor and track initiated trades and loan sale transactions

- Assist in developing and maintaining job aids for essential functions

The pay range for this position is between $50,000 and $75,000 depending on years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field

- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

- Experience with financial analysis tools including, but not limited to Microsoft Excel

- Proficient in managing and analyzing large amounts of data

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and investor contacts null
