Insight Global Vulnerability Management Analyst in Robbinsville, New Jersey

Job Description

  • Vulnerability Assessment: Conducting regular scans and assessments of systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities. This involves using automated tools as well as manual techniques to discover potential weaknesses.

*Configuration Management: Understanding of CIS configuration baselines for servers and endpoints. Conduct regular configuration scans to ensure conformance with the minimum security baseline.

· Risk Assessment: Analyzing the impact and likelihood of identified vulnerabilities to prioritize them based on risk level. This helps in focusing resources on addressing the most critical issues first. Ability to explain the residual risk in business language.

· Patch Management: Coordinating with system administrators and IT teams to ensure timely deployment of security patches and updates to mitigate known vulnerabilities.

· Security Monitoring: Monitoring systems for signs of exploitation of vulnerabilities, anomalous activities, or breaches. This includes analyzing logs and alerts generated by security systems.

· Reporting and Documentation: Documenting findings from vulnerability assessments and maintaining records of vulnerabilities, remediation actions, and risk assessments. Producing reports for management and stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

*6+ years of cyber security experience with an infrastructure focus.

*6+ years conducting regular scans and assessments of systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities. Automation AND manual techniques

*Hands on experience using Tenable.io . Qualys, Nessus, or other SIEM tools

*Experience using Power BI and Jira for reporting

*Understanding of CIS configuration baselines for servers and endpoints.

*Ability to run security incident calls

*Working knowledge of CSPM - Cloud Security Posture Management. null
