Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Technician to join a full-service Engineering Consulting company located in Roxana IL. The role is 100% on-site and the ideal candidate will be on-site 5 days a week. This person should have 2+ years of experience operating remediation systems or wastewater treatment plants. The Environmental Technician is responsible for monitoring remediation operations under the supervision of an Mc2 Engineer. They will also be responsible for operating the well field vapor and liquid extraction systems, operate a high-pressure steam generator and more.
Responsibilities also include:
- Operate the aboveground treatment system
- Walking the job site and monitoring gauges, floor meters, discharge requirements etc.
- Troubleshooting the system
- Collect and process data on air and groundwater
- Respond to call out alarms for equipment
- Perform health and safety tests with field instruments

Skills and Requirements
Electrical, mechanical or plumbing experience in a light industrial environment
40 hour OSHA training, 30 hour OSHA construction training and refinery training
Experience as a treatment plant operator, environmental scientist or electrician null
