Job Description
An employer is looking for an Enterprise Data Modeler for one of our top utility clients in the Nation. This role is going to set the precedent for the Enterprise Data Modeling Standards and Rules and lead by example for the Enterprise Data & Analytics team as well as across the enterprise. We are looking for someone who will be the first line of defense to ensure that the requirements from stakeholders are sound and you are able to deliver the appropriate model. This person will be hands-on in the weeds executing on dimensional modeling as well as having influence on requirements all while having the organizations best interest mind in terms of standards, governance, and rules. Skills and Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Modeler - with a focus on the Enterprise Standards & Principles
- Must have extensive Dimensional Modeling experience -- Ralph Kimball Modeling
- Experience supporting data across the entire enterprise and being a steward of the data
- Erwin -- Data Modeling Tool
- Previous experience setting the standards for modeling across the enterprise and being the lead in that regard.
- Excellent communication and ability to build relationships to ultimately have the business stakeholders' best interest in mind null
