Insight Global Cleared Quality Assurance Manager in San Diego, California

Job Description

A customer in the San Diego area is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. They will be resposible for achieving quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; and implementing change. Their day to day responsibilities will be assuring consistent quality of production, repair and restoration by developing and enforcing good industry practices, depot standard operating procedures (SOP), and appropriate policies and procedures. They will be supervising quality assurance inspectors, ensuring priorities, schedule, and quality assurance is maintained while providing OJT and instruction as necessary. This person will be working fully onsite on a 9/80 schedule.

Skills and Requirements

-Active Secret Clearance

-5 years of experience in restoration/repair depot with emphasis on managing quality management systems (ISO9001:2008 or equivalent).

-Experience developing quality assurance plans, validating quality processes, and maintaining product quality -Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2008

-Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 2/3 null
