Insight Global Cleared Technical Writer in San Diego, California
Job Description
A customer in the San Diego area is looking for a Technical Writer to join their team. Their day to day responsibilities will be identifying and assessing issues with technical documentation for or Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) (C4ISR) components and systems. They will be integrating support elements and resources into technical documentation to ensure schedule, scope, and quality are met during development, revision, editing, and publishing. They will be working with and alongside engineering staff, other contractor personnel and interfacing and coordinating with Government IPT leads and CORs. This person will be working fully onsite on a 9/80 schedule.

Skills and Requirements
-Active Secret Clearance
-3 years of experience in a Tech Writer role supporting DOD C4ISR
-Experience with technical documentation such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Computer Aided Drawings (CAD), Bill of Materials (BOM)/Parts List (PL), Test Procedure, First Article Unit, Wiring Diagram, Assembly Instructions, Disassembly Instructions, and Paint Procedure -Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2008
-Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 2/3 null
