Insight Global In-car Test Engineer in Santa Clara, California
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an in-car test engineer to join a Fortune 100 semiconductor company headquarter in Santa Clara, CA.
Pay Range- $60-$70
In this role you will be required to travel to different cities in the U.S. 1 week out of the month. 80% of the role will be in car testing for vehicle/ADAS features. Initially there will be a test template to test, but as you ramp up you will be responsible for creating test plans and validating them.
Responsibilities:
-Develop testing scenarios and procedures to comprehensively assess engineering solutions in L2 or above autonomous driving system
-Independently bring up vehicle, perform in-car testing and record test results
-Provide reliable and consistent judgment of product quality from the perspective of end user based on evidence collected from road test
-Work with operation team to arrange logistics for testing
-Report product issues in a timely and structured manner using issue management system (JIRA)

Skills and Requirements
-3+ years of experience testing vehicle features
-Experience working/testing on AV (autonomous vehicles)
-In-car testing experience
-Very familiar navigating within the Linux command line
-Experience creating test plans and validating them
-JIRA experience
-Bash or Python scripting experience null
