Overview of the role:

CVS Health Rebates team is looking for a Google Kubernetes Engine(GKE) Data Engineer to assist them in solutioning the architecture as they Transform the rebate processing system from a legacy platform into the new GKE in the cloud platform. The potential candidate will be helping the engineers in rearchitecting, transforming, and designing data pipelines. This project is in the infant stages, so the first 3 months will primarily consist of a lot of meetings, discussions and diagrams before getting hands-on.

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

* 7+ years of Data Engineering experience

• 2+ years experience working with Java. They will be developing the data pipelines for code sitting in Java, so at least foundational and basic experience will be required.

* Experience working with Apache Airflow for developing, scheduling, and monitoring batch-oriented workflows.

* Experience working with Composer for dependency management

* Experience working with Data Proc or Spark for batch processing, querying, streaming and machine learning

* 5+ years of experience creating/architecting CI/CD pipelines

* Experience with producing architecture solutions with Composer and Spark

* Experience in Large scale batch processing with cloud services.

* Strong experience working with Apache Spark, Map Reduce, Spark Streaming, PySpark, Hive, HDFS, Kafka, Redis, Sqoop, Oozie, IBM Datastage and Springbatch * Strong experience working with Apache Spark, Map Reduce, Spark Streaming, PySpark, Hive, HDFS, Kafka, Redis, Sqoop, Oozie, IBM Datastage and Springbatch null
