Insight Global Provider Contracts Specialist in Seattle, Washington
Job Description
We are looking for a Provider Contracts Specialist to join our team and manage the contracting process for our Medicaid plan. You will be responsible for negotiating, issuing, and managing behavioral health contracts with providers, ensuring compliance, quality, and timeliness.
As a Provider Contracts Specialist, you will need to have strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. You will also need to have a solid understanding of the behavioral health industry, regulatory requirements, and fee-for-service schedules. You will also need to be able to work independently and collaboratively in addition to having the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Evaluating, negotiating and securing behavioral health providers for our provider network, which will go live on July 1, 2024
Sending links to applications and electronic copies of contracts to providers, and assisting them with the contracting process
Negotiating contract terms and rates with providers, and issuing contracts within the Medicaid plan's guidelines and deadlines
Managing and maintaining contracts, and ensuring they adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards
Providing daily, coherent, and organized status updates on the progress of provider recruitment and contract execution efforts
Interacting with Washington State adult family homes, assisted living facilities, and relevant government agencies, fostering positive relationships and collaboration
Maintaining accurate records of contract negotiations, provider interactions, and compliance activities, ensuring transparency and audit readiness

Skills and Requirements
-3+ years of experience in Medicaid contracting for behavioral health, adult family home, or skilled nursing facility providers
-Working experience with recruiting providers, negotiating contracts and negotiating contract rates
-Must be located in either Washington, Oregon, Montana, or Idaho -Experience working with behavioral health or adult home providers null
