Insight Global Program Manager III (Lab Ops) in Sunnyvale, California

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Lab Operations Program Manager to join one of the world's leading social networking companies. This individual will work with the Reality Labs organization which helps people around the world come together through next generation Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. The Reality Labs Research Operations (RLR-O) Team empowers research teams to do their best work by supporting the execution of business and onsite services. This role will help build out continuous improvement efforts across RLR and help design a Program Manager Excellence initiative. As a program manager for RL Devices, labs and site, the role is to plan, direct, or coordinate projects and processes pertaining to the internal and external labs, site and facilities working with internal stakeholders, XFN teams and external partners to achieve program milestones.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate lab and site related projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing workflows.

Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to stakeholders.

Analyze site and asset data, facility functions, XFN processes to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Confer with site and lab teams, governance boards and XFN teams to discuss project specifications and procedures.

Review and recommend improvements to reach agreed upon milestones.

Consult and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive alignment towards milestone progress.

 Occasional travel to NORAM labs and sites for site visits

Pay range: $65-70/hr

Skills and Requirements

1  proficiency in computer software (excel and google suite)

 2  advanced spreadsheet and date manipulation knowledge (formulas and queries)

 3  5-7 years of program management experience 1 Understanding of a large program (google, Microsoft, apple, or other large tech company with labs)

 2  previous inventory / budget experience

 3  attention to detail and highly organized null
