Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Senior Accountant for a manufacturing company in Suwanne, GA. This person will report directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager. In this role, you will assist with preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, account reconciliations, audit, and other financial reports. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for processing and recording entries to execute and complete the calendar close process monthly.
Responsibilities include:
Senior Accountant will provide support and analysis on financial information supporting the income statement, balance sheets, and other financial information
Recognized as a subject matter expert on leased accounting, equity compensation, fixed assets accounting function typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
Managing projects and processes with limited oversight, coaching, reviewing and delegating work to Staff Accountant
Maintains the general ledger
Review and assist with transactional activities within the general, ASC606, ASC718, ASC842 accounting processes

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
Senior Accountant - 5+ years of accounting experience
Account reconciliations and month end close
Proficient in MS Excel with experience in financial ERP systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Business Intelligence preferred)
Prior experience in consolidation, multicurrency reporting, fixed assets, sales/used tax, and intercompany processes required Accounting background in manufacturing industry
