Job Description

• Thorough knowledge and experience in securing the end to end image/container lifecycle from image build to production deployment

• Understanding container orchestration through applications such as Rancher, Kubernetes, OpenShift security

• Understanding of automated security testing approaches and tools such as KubeTest, NetAssert, GOSS, Grafeas, KubeHunter a plus

• Foundational knowledge of cloud security fundamentals, including cryptography and the shared responsibility model

• Experience with at least one of the 3 major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) for container management & orchestration, database services, cloud computing, database services, etc.

• Detailed understanding of at least one of the 3 major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) for cloud security principles and services like IAM, key management, networking through a security lense.

• Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate operations and maintenance tasks

• Automate deployment and scaling of production systems and applications

• Troubleshoot and debug production systems and applications

• Design, develop, and implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes

• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve the overall development, deployment, and scaling proces! ses

• Monitor and optimize issues related to infrastructure performance of production systems and applications

• Ensure the security of production systems and applications by implementing best practices for security and data protection

• DevOps Engineer

• Strong skills in containerization

• Container orchestration w/ Rancher (Openshift or Nomad could suffice)

• Kubernetes and Docker

• Azure or AWS cloud

• Azure DevOps ADO or other CICD pipeline product - Jenkins or Github

• Terraform

• Automation and scripting skills - Hashicorp Vault or JFrog Artifactory

• Linux
