Insight Global Data Loss Prevention Consultant in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Insight global is looking for a data loss prevention specialist. They will act as a service owner for Proofpoint and creating the strategy for meeting regulatory requirements. They will be working on setting up sprints to fix deficiencies that regulators identified. You will be working with engineering and operations to update policies. You will be expected to run Proofpoint as the service owner SME. You will be responsible for updating roadmaps quarterly and presenting to senior management.

Skills and Requirements

- 5-15+ years' experience working as an information security consultant with expertise in data loss prevention

- Large enterprise experience

- Proofpoint expert, with strong experience with email DLP (5+ years) -- large enterprise experience with millions of emails monthly

- Ability to capture and report data loss events

- Modifying and updated policies (policing tuning) for identifying false positives, able to set governance rules for internal use to meet regulatory requirements

- Able to guide team on how to use Proofpoint or any tools used to maximize potential by updating tool and new features - Bank experience

- Microsoft Defender for endpoint (purview) experience

- CASB (cloud access security broker), Microsoft Defender for cloud apps experience null
