Job Description
Job Title: Infrastructure Architect
Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid-based position with 2 days on-site)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential extensions)
Day to day: Insight Global is looking for an Infrastructure Architect to support one of our top banking clients in Downtown, Toronto. This individual will be joining a mature team and support internal business stakeholder's priorities within the securities space. This is a fast pace and high demanding team with the opportunity to leverage expertise in this space.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal clients to gather requirements for software applications.
Translate client requirements into technical specifications for the organization.
Design and implement architectural systems to meet business needs.
Address infrastructure upgrade needs and plan for new systems.
Work closely with demanding internal clients, guiding them through technological requirements and roadblocks.
Ensure secure and efficient cloud computing using Azure, Kubernetes, AKS, and GCP.
Leverage knowledge of physical design and infrastructure in the banking, insurance, or enterprise domain.

Skills and Requirements

-Azure
-GCP
-Knowledge of cloud computing on Azure, physical design and infrastructure.
-Banking/Insurance/Enterprise background Experience with OpenShift.
Familiarity with securities-related systems.
VMWARE experience
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Strong communication and problem-solving skills. null
