Insight Global Project Manager in Toronto, Ontario
Job Description
For this project, the work is on cloud (Azure), with other technologies including ETL, Cognos on prem (moving to cloud), Cloudera on the ETL side, power BI, tableau, Alteryx. You will be responsible for dealing multiple LOBs get data from all different LOBs and load into EDH (enterprise data hub) or on the Netezza platform and take it to the cloud as well essentially on prem ingestion of the data and then putting it on the cloud. You will be working with consumer LOBs to create reports for them set up tools, give them access (through tableau, alteryx, power BI) which will connect end users with data on the cloud. Having a deep understanding of databases, how to retrieve and consume data is critical for this role. The ability to work with different teams and bring them together and run together (other teams including ingestion and consumption) is also critical. We are also looking for the standard project management skills documentation, artifacts, meeting minutes, financials (maintaining latest estimates, working with teams, managing budget) they have in house tools for this but the group is heavy on excel and Planview so strong experience with both is important.
This contract will be 6 months to start with high possibility of extension as this is a multi year project, for up to 2 years. Mondays on site and the 1st Friday of every month for a total of 5 days on site per month are required.

Skills and Requirements
-IT Project management experience - minimum 7 years
-Azure - delivered projects in the cloud
-Big Data
-Experience working on projects where there were technologies such as Cognos, ETL, Cloudera, Netezza, Databricks
-BI tools Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau
-AI/ML
-Banking experience
-Agile, Scrum and Waterfall PM experience
-Financial management experience
-Encryption with data and security understanding (they use Protegrity but it can be others) IAM (identity access management)
