Job Description
This position will report directly to the Director of Advanced Engineering within the automotive industry. As the Value Engineering Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives centered around value engineering and analysis within the organization. This role involves guiding cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities, enhancing product quality. The ideal candidate will showcase exceptional analytical abilities, a profound understanding of engineering principles, and a successful track record in driving efficiency and innovation across diverse projects.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree *Strong preference for mechanical engineering
5-7 years' experience in automotive engineering
VMA certification or CVS certification *May have another VA/VE cost reduction certification which would also be applicable
Has led a team under them before
Experience with VA/VE cost reduction, value analysis and being able to determine whether a function is needed or can it be eliminated to save cost, while still increasing or maintaining efficiency. - Has managerial experience (will have 1 direct report immediately, eventually will have a team of 4 direct reports ¾ based in India) null
