Insight Global Clinical Oncology Pharmacist in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Clinical Pharmacists to support a large Academic hospital in Washington, DC. They are expanding their team in preparation to open a new surgical pavilion December of 2023. This position will have rotating schedules of day, evening and weekend shifts. These positions provide pharmaceutical care to assigned patients under the supervision of more senior clinical pharmacist manager. The candidates will be to be able to evaluate and interpret physician orders and dispenses medication and other pharmaceutical supplies in accordance to the state and district federal laws. They will also be assisting in order verification, supervise the techs, as well as compounding IV drugs.

Skills and Requirements

Doctoral Degree PharmD from an accredited college of Pharmacy required or an equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy required.

1-2 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting OR PGY1

RPH - Registered pharmacist licensure in the District of Columbia null
