Insight Global Senior Network Engineer in West Des Moines, Iowa
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join one of their premiere local Insurance clients in the Des Moines area. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with the network team to design, implement and administrate network infrastructure. They will lead network technology upgrades or expansion projects, including installation of hardware, software, and integration testing. 40% of the day will be spent in the weeds of the Palos, 30% of the day will be spent on miscellaneous projects, 20% of the day will be spent in stand-up meetings, 10% of the day will be spent in traditional trouble shooting. They will need to come into the organization with a growth mindset and the ability to communication with their team under pressure. They will need to drive innovation and take initiative to improving work processes. The compensation for this role will be in between $90,000-$130,000/yr.

Palo Alto experience with Firewall management Experience w/ BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
Any exposure to cloud networking or cloud certifications null
