Insight Global A&P Technician in Windsor Locks, Connecticut
Job Description
A&P Technicians are playing an essential role in their business. You will troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft often working directly with clients to help them find solutions.
Performing maintenance: They carry out routine checks and repairs, as well as preventive maintenance to ensure the aircraft is in good working order1.
Diagnosing problems: A&P technicians diagnose mechanical or electrical issues within the aircrafts systems2.
Replacing parts: They are responsible for replacing defective parts using hand tools or power tools and examining replacement aircraft parts for defects2.
Documenting repairs: They must keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including the hours an aircraft has been in flight, the number of days since the last inspection, operation cycles, and other aspects1.
Staying updated: Its crucial for A&P technicians to stay current with technological advances in the aviation industry.

Skills and Requirements
A&P License
2+ years of experience either on aircraft, fixed wing or rotary or Military aircraft
Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
Basic PC skills Business aircraft experience null
