Insight Global Healthcare Strategy PM in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Healthcare Strategy PM, to support a healthcare client of ours. The qualified candidate will help support the innovation department develop ideas and strategies to help increase productivity and efficiency. Initiatives are already in flight, so the responsibility of this manager will be to drive and organize requirements, track KPIs, document and present progress. These initiatives will touch multiple areas of the organization and will be reviewed from a CEO level.

1. Project Oversight and Management:

o Identify Projects: Begin by identifying strategic initiatives related to innovation, process improvement, or other key areas within the healthcare organization.

o Create Roadmaps: Develop project roadmaps that outline milestones, deliverables, and timelines.

o Monitor Progress: Regularly track project progress, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule.

o Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

o Budget Management: Keep an eye on project budgets and allocate resources effectively.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

o Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business leaders, clinicians, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and goals.

o Communication: Facilitate communication between different departments, such as hospital boards or budget committees.

o Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations to update stakeholders on project status and solicit feedback.

3. KPI Tracking and Performance Metrics:

o Define KPIs: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to each project.

o Data Collection: Collect relevant data to measure KPIs.

o Analysis: Analyze KPI data to assess project performance.

o Adjustments: Make adjustments based on KPI insights to keep projects on track.

4. Process Improvement:

o Identify Opportunities: Continuously seek out areas for process improvement within the healthcare organization.

o Lean and Six Sigma: Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to streamline processes.

o Change Management: Implement process changes and manage any associated transitions.

5. Leadership and Team Management:

o Motivate Teams: Inspire and motivate project teams to achieve their goals.

o Delegate Tasks: Assign tasks to team members based on their strengths and expertise.

o Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or challenges within the team.

o Performance Reviews: Conduct periodic performance reviews for team members.

6. Innovation and Strategy:

o Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices.

o Brainstorming: Collaborate with colleagues to generate innovative ideas.

o Strategic Planning: Align project goals with the overall strategic vision of the healthcare organization.

Skills and Requirements

- 10+ years of experience driving initiatives to fruition

o Tracking KPIs

o Developing strategies

o Creating roadmaps

o Process improvement

- Demonstrated experience leveraging data insights for defining metrics and tracking project success

- Experience in the healthcare industry (Medicare/Medicaid) - Certifications (PMP, PMI, Lean SIX Sigma, etc)

- Word, PowerPoint, Excel null
